Good Bye, Sun. Hello, Rain.

Sadly, we've left the gorgeous Arizona sunshine and are back with the Oregon rain. I guess you can at least say we are well-hydrated here in Oregon.  Here are some sights from AZ.
That's a 3 story water slide my daughter just slid down. You can get some serious speed on this if you do it right.

This guy happened to show up at lunchtime each day. Hmmmm!

Blue skies every day.

Time for dinner.

On The Farm

Kim was the winner of the hat giveaway.  I realize there was a problem with the commenting. I think my blog settings permitted ONLY people who are on
Google + the ability to comment.  Sorry about that.  I'm trying to figure out how to rectify that problem.  I'll have another giveaway soon and we'll try it again. Happy Wednesday!!!

Saint Patrick's Day Giveaway

Today is the day!  I'm having a random drawing to give away two of my hand knit hats. In order to be entered in the drawing, all you need to do is leave a comment below this post. Some of my hats are for small people or people with small heads and some are for large people or people with large heads. You might want to tell me in your comment which type of hat you'd like to win.

You could also just say, "Hello."
Tell me why you read my blog.
Tell me your favorite color.
Tell me which hat you want to win.
Tell me where you live.

Or, just tell me whatever you want to tell me. As long as you leave a comment with your contact information, you will be entered in the drawing. I will announce the winners on Thursday, March 20, 2014. You do not need to live in The United States to win.

Here are photos of the two hats. I might add a few more hats depending on the total number of comments.

This hat is knit with wool, microfiber (for stretch), cashmere and baby alpaca. It is  about 15 inches in circumference, but stretches to a bigger size of course. In the photo, it is sitting on my husband's hand, so that will give you an idea as to the size. Perfect for Saint Patrick's day!!!

This hat is knit with Alpaca, merino wool, silk and mohair. It is about 18 inches in circumference and more of an adult-sized hat. The S-shaped squiggles are needle-felted on the hat. Perfect for spring!!!

So, go ahead and leave a comment and you will be entered to win.

Good Luck and Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
