Guess Who is Begging For Turkey?

Boomer is begging for turkey. This is a mammoth feat for this guy since he's
12 years old and asleep for about 20 hours a day.  He couldn't resist our
Greenberg Smoked Turkey.
I haven't cooked a turkey since the first time I tried and didn't know about the bag-o-parts
stuffed inside that needed to be removed before cooking. UGH!!!!

It lasted for about five minutes and then it was gone.

I Planted About 100 Bulbs AND...

the next day I found this little guy digging them up.

Sleigh Bells Christmas Shop

     It's time to get into the holiday spirit so we decided to visit Sleigh Bells yesterday.  The shop is filled with the most incredible Christmas decorations, music, fudge and it even has a little restaurant where you can have lunch.  We had the perfect Oregon weather for our trip: cold, rainy, gloomy and a low-hanging fog ceiling.

I forgot the most important thing about SleighBells, you can buy your tree there and
 they will deliver it in this most awesome red and yellow truck.

     It's raining, so no farmer's market for me today, it's just not fun in the rain.  These pictures are from last weekend.  This is the last weekend for the market in Beaverton, so I'll have to start venturing down to the Portland State market.

Purl Soho in My Mailbox

     Look what I got in the mail the other day!  This is the yarn I ordered from Purl Soho.  It's their very own Super Soft Merino and it IS everything they say it is, SUPER SOFT.  I'm making this for my daughter for Christmas. I'm loving it and can't put it down.  I'm using the color "Heirloom White" for her and I'm going to make one out of "Yellow Yellow" for myself.  It's absolutely worth the price!!! You should try it.
