Thoughts of Christmas Begin
It's that time! What time? Time to start thinking about Christmas and presents. I just finished the first sock of a pair that will go to my son. Here it is!
So, the picture is a little dark. The yellows and greens are definitely brighter than the (lack of) Oregon sunlight permits in this picture. The main yarn is Socks That Rock 100% Superwash Merino Medium Weight in the color "Lemongrass." The second yarn that I knitted with Socks That Rock is Rowan Kidsilk Haze. Adding the Kidsilk haze makes for an incredibly soft sock, perfect for my boy.
Here are some pix my daughter and I took yesterday.
Happy Sunday!

Only four days until Art in The Burbs. I can't wait! I hope to see all of you at the show. I'm as ready as I'll ever be with lots of exciting hats and scarves that I've made for the show. There will be tons of great art, live entertainment, and delicious food all waiting for you. See you there!!!
Here are some photos of my newest scarves. The fibers are hand-dyed (by someone else), hand-spun and hand-knit by me.
Happy Monday!
See you at The Burbs.

Happy I Love Yarn Day
Yes, today is I Love Yarn Day, so pull out those needles and make something for yourself, or someone else.
Also, there is only ONE week until Art in The Burbs. I have TONS of new, wild and crazy hats for sale and a FEW beautiful and elegant scarves for sale. The art goes fast, so the best time to come to the show is next Friday night, which is opening night. The next best time to come is Saturday morning. I will be running The Regatta Run in Tualatin that morning and will be a few minutes late for the show opening. Have no fear, you can still buy my hats and scarves and my daughter will be there in my place until I get there. So, come by and see me at Art in The Burbs at Alberta Rider Elementary School on Bull Mountain in Tigard, Oregon. I can't wait to see and talk to everyone!
Happy I Love Yarn Day!
