Giant Dog

There was an Irish Wolfhound dog show at the same location as The Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival over the weekend and I just had to post a picture of this Irish Wolfhound. He was HUGE!!!  The picture doesn't do justice to his enormous size.

Check this one out!!! What a majestic dog with an awesome Swiss-looking color.

Wrong breed, but a really cute dog!!!

My daughter and I had a great time at The Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival this weekend.  We bought this awesome handspun yarn called "Smack."  This yarn is way to cool to knit with right away.  I'm going to wait awhile before I decide what to do with it.

The sun is shining again today!!!

The Sun is Shining!

The sun is shining today!  This is a rare thing in our area of the country.  We barely had summer and it feels like we are jumping immediately into a dark, soggy winter (yesterday's high was 55 degrees).
Today the sun is shining and I'm not sitting at my computer with two jackets on.
Look!!! Even my wiener dog is panting and got to see his shadow today.

Here is my "Fresco" hat that I just finished.  I made it especially for the St. Pius X show in Atlanta.  It is an adult size hat made of wool, baby alpaca and angora.  It has a very tiny metal fish button on the top.  It is a nice light-weight hat that is PERFECT for a Fall football game in Atlanta.

Another New Hat

I just finished this hat made with Malabrigo worsted yarn. I needle-felted the  circles which makes the inside of the hat incredibly soft.

Another Food Photo

Here's another "food" photo for you.  We love going to the Lake Oswego Farmer's Market which is where we purchased this incredible produce.

My needle-felted Malabrigo hat should be finished tomorrow.  I'll post pictures of it then.

Don't forget to check out my "events" where I'll be selling my hats this Fall.

One of my favorites

Malabrigo

This is my latest baby hat that will be in my Fall collection. The yarn is Malabrigo Worsted and the color is fuchsia.

It is one of my all-time favorite yarns to knit with since it is soft and comes in an awesome variety of colors.

Once I finish the knitting, I will needle-felt some colorful designs on the hat.  I'll show you that later!

Sqiggles Hat

Squiggles Hat

OK, so here is the hat that I started with my new Blue Sky Alpaca yarn.  I thought it needed a little texture so I added the Crystal Palace "Squiggles" to it.

The kids are back from the Oregon Coast and ready to start school next week.
